Magic: The Gathering's next Standard set, Innistrad: Crimson Vow, officially releases on November 19th, 2021. Crimson Vow involves a Vampire wedding featuring Olivia Voldaren. Players can expect new Vampire cards, including appearances of notable Innistrad characters.
I anticipate increased player demand for older Vampire cards due to Vampires included in the primary set of Crimson Vow and its Commander preconstructed decks. As such, there may be several Vampire cards that spike in price as players attempt to build new Commander decks or choose to upgrade the Crimson Vow precons. My article, 7 Vampires That Could Spike Due to Crimson Vow, on TCGPlayer Infinite, highlights seven vampires that I believe may double or triple in price within the next month. Since the article was published, Bloodline Keeper and Patron of the Vein spiked in price. Suppose you are interested in building a Vampires Commander deck post-release of Crimson Vow. In that case, I recommend acquiring some of the Vampires mentioned in my article now to avoid paying a potential premium later. Comments are closed.
