My name is Landon and I live in Charlotte, NC. I have a strong passion for Japanese culture, fine wines, gourmet food, financial topics, games, and Magic: The Gathering. I enjoy new experiences such as traveling to other countries, trying new restaurants, and attending anime conventions around North Carolina.
Currently, I am in my final year of part-time graduate school for a Masters of Business Administration (MBA). When graduate school is not taking all of my free time, I try to spend time with friends and my lovely wife, Ashley. You can often find me at a Magic: The Gathering Standard Showdown, local brewery, eating sushi, or enjoying a nice glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. I also present at the local anime conventions on planning a trip to Japan. I have been to Japan on two separate occasions totaling over 20 days. From these experiences, I try to share my knowledge with others to plan a dream trip of their own. I play competitive Magic at many of the local shops around Charlotte. My success has ranged from a Store Champion to a Regional Pro Tour Qualifier participant. Currently, my main formats are Standard, Draft, and Elder Dragon Highlander. I also enjoy Vintage Cube and playing Modern whenever the time allows. |
