Black is a powerful color of Magic: The Gathering, particularly in Commander. Players utilize black's tutor abilities and destructive power to win games. Demonic Tutor and Toxic Deluge are two reasons to run black in a Commander deck. While you may be familiar with the aforementioned cards, black contains many other powerful spells capable of dominating opponents. A return to Innistrad is bound to make an impact on tribal creatures, especially Werewolves. Tovolar, Dire Overlord and his Werewolf friends from Midnight Hunt are pushing prices of older Werewolf cards higher. However, Werewolves are not the only cause of recent price spikes New cards support flashback and Zombies are impacting prices for several cards.
