Fallen Empires and Homelands are two flavor-filled Magic: The Gathering sets released in the 1990s. Unfortunately, both sets were considered failures by Wizards of the Coast due to a handful of reasons. Fallen Empires became overprinted as an attempt to fix the scarcity of earlier expansions. Homelands had a low power level and limited use for many of its cards.
